Across Italy, including up here in the hills at Ca' Valenzano, the government has set up a 'lockdown' as a response to COVID-19 (coronavirus) currently circulating. This means that we are asked to try to stay at home as much as possible and only make journeys out of our immediate area if necessary.

We're very lucky to have no particular reasons to leave home, so we're carrying on getting the apartments and terraces ready for the season - around looking after the kids who are all at home as there's no school!

We, along with the rest of the world, hope that things will return to normal and we can start to welcome our guests as planned, but until then we understand that people might be reluctant to book, or even think about holidays at the moment.  Rest assured, we will honour our cancellations procedure, and of course extend it to full refunds if travel restrictions are still in place either in Italy or in guests' own countries for their holiday dates.
