We’re very pleased to announce the birth of our little son Giorgio! We’ve had bunnies born here, and chicks, then ducklings (practically all grown up now!) and now a little boy – Valenzano certainly seems good for new life!
Apologies for the lack of blog posts in recent months but we have been run off our feet with building and gardening works in order to make sure we have two beautiful apartments and some lovely surroundings for guests to enjoy. Needless to say the last couple of months have also been taken up with being heavily pregnant and having a baby!
Things are looking great here now though – the autumn leaves are glowing all kings of gorgeous reds, oranges, browns and yellows on the hillsides, new radiators have just gone into the apartments to keep winter guests snug and cosy and I’m just about to make a yummy chilli and tomato jam from the very last tomatoes.
In other exciting news, we’ve been selected to join the Sawdays ‘special places to stay’ agency. Sawdays inspect all the properties they list and only include B&Bs and self-catering houses that they feel really offer something special, so we’re very pleased to have been selected!
